Local author, Sarah Beth Durst, visited with fourth graders at Nassakeag Elementary School to read her new book, “Spy Ring.” The historical fiction children’s book tells the story of two kids who go on a treasure hunt around their hometown of Setauket, New York. On their adventure, they uncover puzzle pieces that tell the story of Anna Smith Strong and the Culper Spy Ring.

Nassakeag fourth graders enjoyed the story and interacting with a professional author. They learned about how Durst writes books and what is involved throughout the process.
