Fourth, fifth and sixth graders competed in the Long Island Virtual Math Tournament on May 16. A total of 360 students competed, making up 72 teams from 40 schools. The competition included an individual portion of 10 questions and a team portion of 10 questions. Awards were given to the top 10 individuals in each grade level, as well as the top five teams in each grade level.

Arrowhead Elementary School fourth graders Austin Lin and Eric Stavitsky placed first and eighth in their category, respectively. Additionally, the fourth grade team made up of Austin Lin, Eric Stavitsky, Richa Patel, Jiana Patel and Joseph Gavin came in first. Congratulations to all!
