Ahead of Memorial Day, the Ward Melville High School boys lacrosse team spent time with local heroes at the Long Island State Veterans Home in Stony Brook. The team made a donation of $1,000 to help the resident veterans and thank them for their sacrifices. It was a humbling experience for the team.
