In collaboration with the Nassakeag Shared Decision-Making Committee, the DEI Committee, and the Nassakeag PTA, Nassakeag Elementary School held its second annual Olympic games.

Students in grades K-6 competed in various relay races and represented their team colors in effort to win the Nassakeag Olympic trophy. Parent volunteers coached their respective teams, Nassakeag faculty and special guest Superintendent of Schools Dr. Scanlon volunteered to judge the events, and NJHS and NHS volunteers assisted with the activities. Additionally, Nassakeag PE teacher, Mrs. Kate Anderson, emceed the event and facilitated all the games.

The audience also enjoyed three cultural dance performances from local dance schools including a traditional Chinese dance from Eva Dance Studio, and Bollywood dances from Rhythm Dance Academy. Many of the performers were Nassakeag students. It was a great night for all participants!
