Mrs. Comiskey and Ms. Lange’s science classes at Nassakeag Elementary School completed a STEM challenge to build the tallest peppermint tower possible. Students followed the scientific method through hypothesizing and experimentation. They generated, graphed and analyzed data as they engineered their towers before they toppled over. The activity aligned with the building’s Candy Cane Day before the holiday break.
