Students at W.S. Mount Elementary School participated in Start With Hello Week from Sept. 18-22. The call-to-action week encourages students to make new social connections and create a sense of belonging throughout the building with three easy steps — see someone who is alone, reach out and help them feel included and start with hello, or break the ice with a conversation.

Throughout the week, Mount students participated in activities aligned with the messaging of the initiative. As a display of unity, students and staff members wrote their names on a paper hand which were then put together to form a tree in the main hallway.
