Students taking fundamentals of technology at R.C. Murphy Junior High School added some cheer to the building’s winter landscapes. Students constructed fun, eye-catching yard décor in the shape of a winter cardinal. They first learned about the cardinal’s habitat and unique attributes before building their own wind-powered yard decorations. They used several tools and machines to cut, drill, sand and paint the necessary parts before assembling their finished projects.
