The Gelinas Science Olympiad team showcased their talent and dedication at the recent regional tournament, securing impressive finishes with their A team placing second and their B team placing seventh. As a result of their outstanding performance, the team is now gearing up for the state tournament in April.

Demonstrating excellence across multiple events, Gelinas earned first place in several categories:

* Anatomy (A team).
* Code Busters (A team).
* Crimebusters (A team).
* Road Scholar (A team).
* Entomology (B team).
* Meteorology (B team).

In the highly competitive Science Olympiad scoring system, where lower scores indicate stronger performances, the A team achieved an overall score of 66, while the B team finished with a score of 180.
