Murphy Junior High School hosted a special award breakfast to honor outstanding student achievements in academics and the arts. The event, attended by students and administrators, recognized students for their excellence in the Geography Bee, Spelling Bee, creative writing and visual arts competitions.

Principal Mike Jantzen and Assistant Principal Dawn Nachtigall proudly presented awards to the following students:

Geography Bee

* First Place: Erum Humayon.
* Second Place: Michelle Lam.
