This spring, the Arrowhead Garden Club has been buzzing with activity as students in grades 4-6 dug into hands-on gardening projects. Under the guidance of advisers Ms. Turano and Mrs. Scaglione, club members learned how to propagate trees from cuttings and planted milkweed to attract monarch butterflies. The students also explored sustainable gardening practices, including composting and hydroponics, with help from expert master gardeners. Adding a creative touch, members practiced floral design while enhancing the beauty of the school’s entrance. The club continues to inspire young environmental stewards with every seed they plant.
