Students at Ward Melville High School recently put their culinary skills to the test in the annual World Language Honor Societies Dessert Contest. This beloved tradition invites students to prepare and present desserts from France, Italy and Spain, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of these countries.

Administrators and teachers served as judges, sampling an array of homemade treats ranging from classic French pastries to traditional Spanish and Italian sweets. The competition not only showcased students’ baking talents but also deepened their appreciation for world languages and cultures.

The event was a sweet success, bringing together language learners and faculty for a delicious and educational experience.
