Nassakeag Elementary School students in the Three Village Central School District learned how to better care for their pearly whites during a dental presentation with Dominique Cotilletta of KiddSmiles Pediatric Dentistry.

Ms. Cotilletta stressed the importance of students brushing their teeth twice a day and flossing. She also explained how sugary foods can have a negative effect on the health of teeth. Ms. Cotilletta then demonstrated how to brush teeth correctly on a stuffed animal dinosaur. Each of the students also received a goodie bag with a new toothbrush, floss and toothpaste.
