The spirit of competition blanketed the district’s elementary schools, as each took part in the annual Souper Bowl contest – an event aimed to challenge the schools to collect the greatest number of nonperishable food items. 

Minnesauke Elementary School was named this year’s winner, as the students and their families collected more than 1,050 items to donate to a regional organization to help families in the local communities. Approximately 3,600 items were collected in total throughout all five schools.
