The community gathered at Ward Melville High School on Sept. 28 to celebrate Patriot pride at the school’s annual homecoming. The festivities kicked off with the homecoming carnival, where various clubs and organizations set up games and activities for community members to participate in.

Following the carnival, attendees filled the stands as they prepared for the Ward Melville varsity football team to take the field. Throughout the game, they were treated to performances from the cheerleading team and marching band. Students from the elementary schools paraded onto the field during halftime for the annual banner contest. To cap off the festivities, the Patriots celebrated an 8-0 win against the Connetquot Thunderbirds!
