Lead Testing

Official Notice Regarding Lead Testing - September 22, 2016
The Three Village Central School District proactively initiated a thorough test of all potable water sources in each of its facilities in the spring of 2016. Upon receiving the results of this testing, the district immediately implemented a corrective action plan to address those locations found to have levels of lead above Environmental Protection Agency guidelines.

The remediation work was completed before the start of the 2016-17 school year. This effort included removing the identified locations from service and installing filtered water bottle filling stations at each elementary and junior high school. These devices were previously installed at Ward Melville High School.

In the 2015-16 school year, Three Village Central School District took the proactive approach and tested all water sources for lead.
