Where can I find book titles that may interest my child?

Two good websites that provide book lists are the American Library Association at www.ala.org and the Lexile Framework for Reading: Find a Book Page at www.lexile.com/fab.

If my child is absent for any part of the ELA assessment, will there be a make-up date?
Yes, the make-up dates are located on the state website above.

What is a lexile level?

A lexile measure gives information about either the student’s reading ability or the difficulty of a text. Students from Three Village get their lexile reader measure from the SRI. A lexile reader measure can range from a 200L for a beginning reader to above 1600L for advanced readers.

What is the SRI?
The SRI, Scholastic Reading Inventory, is a reading assessment which provides immediate data on students’ reading levels and growth over time.
