National Junior Honor Societies




What are the eligibility requirements for the National Junior Honor Society?
  • Scholarship: Minimum cumulative grade point average of 90 for six (6) consecutive marking periods
  • Leadership: Demonstrated in the classroom, participate in community programs (i.e. WMHO Youth Corp, Kiwanis, Church, Synagogue)
  • Service: Active participation in school/ community programs (Minimum 10 hours)
  • Character: Demonstrate character in upholding rules and standards of the school and laws of society. Exhibit a high degree of trustworthiness, reliability and truthfulness
  • Citizenship: Demonstrate a quality understanding of the importance of civic involvement and participate in activities, such as scouting, community organizations and school clubs



What are the eligibility requirements for the National Art Junior Honor Society?

Standing Member is a student who has not yet been inducted into the NAJHS
  • Grade 8, 9
  • Art GPA of 95 or above
  • Attend NAJHS Club Meetings
  • 20 Hours of Community Service/Meetings

Charter Member is a student who has been inducted into the NAJHS
  • Grade 9
  • Art GPA of 95 or above
  • Academic GPA of 90 or above
  • Attend NAJHS Club Meetings
  • 20 hours of Community Service/Meetings
  • Artist's Personal Statement
