Minnesauke Earns This Year’s Emma Cup

Minnesauke Elementary School was named the winner of this year’s Emma Cup for having the highest percentage of students sign up for and finish the summer reading challenge through the Emma S. Clark Memorial Library.

This year, 21,161 children across Three Village signed up for the summer reading challenge, reading a total of 5,688 books. At Minnesauke, 258 students enrolled in the program and read 4,457 books.

The winning school of the Emma Cup gets its named engraved on the trophy each year. Out of the nine years the library has been running the program, Minnesauke Elementary School has been crowned the champion six times!
