May my child skip levels in a foreign language in order to enter the honors program one or even two years ahead of the prescribed schedule?
NO. Our schedule of courses/curriculum has built-in fail-safes to accommodate students with more advanced skills. Even students with spoken fluency benefit from our honors program. The literature, culture and themes studied are conducive to enhancing the skill and knowledge level of all students, regardless of fluency. The order of courses as it has been designed, Grade 10 - Course C, Grade 11 – Course D and Grade 12 – (AP) Advanced Placement, is appropriate for all students studying at the honors level.
