Third graders in Mrs. Starr’s class at Arrowhead Elementary School are enhancing their understanding of the Dewey Decimal System. Understanding the system empowers them to independently explore and find books on subjects of interest through the school library catalog. This year, a key objective of library class is to equip students with the skills needed to confidently navigate the library, allowing them to locate relevant, valuable information in both school and public libraries. In addition to these practical skills, the library aims to inspire a love for reading that will foster lifelong curiosity and a passion for knowledge.
